ELECTION SPENDING

Election spending is out of control! With each election the cost of getting into office is increasing at an alarming rate. The possibility of an honest person getting into office, who is not on the take from big buisness, is nearly impossible due to the amount of money that must be raised just to get on the ticket. If you look at the donations for the both the Republican and Democratic candidates you will quickly discover the only ones left standing are usually the ones with the most money. (Romney excluded-No one wanted a Mormon for president.) What does this tell you? It tells that you need a lot of really big (buisness) donors to stay in the race.

Just look at the alarming rate of increase in the cost of running for political office! If this trend continues, only those politicians than can garner these huge sums have a chance of running. What are the odds that these candidates will be able to represent the average American citizen? In fact, to raise this much money studies indicate candidates spend nearly 50% of their time fundraising! Is that what we are hiring them to do, fundraise?

Folks, the candidates are not being honest with you. They are telling you what they need to tell you to get your vote. They are also watering down their message to reach the most people they can and you can't tell what they will do in office. But these numbers tell you what they have to do once they are in office is start fundraising for the next election and that means honor their committments to the big donors. Is that you? Because if it's not you, then someone else is going to get their attention. As long as it takes this much money to run for office, there will be no representation for the average citizen. WE ARE DISENFRANCHISED!

TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
DO NOT VOTE FOR ANYONE IN THE POCKET OF BIG BUSINESS
VOTE FOR FINANCE REFORM CANDIDATES ONLY!
TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS!
